Known for its gourmet coffee and pastries, the Rollover Cafe in Wells is cozy and quaint and the perfect place to grab a delicious breakfast sandwich with your pup. There are always water bowls and biscuits for the pups and us humans can choose from a rather extensive surf n’ turf menu that features the best lobster-rolls in town, burgers, fries, hotdogs, coleslaw, and beer! Plus, they usually feature live entertainment all summer long!
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, The Porthole in Portland is a must-stop for anyone traveling with a dog. The outside patio sits wharf-side and overlooks the ocean below complete with standard tables and chairs, picnic tables, umbrellas and benches. The whole thing is 100% dog-friendly and your pups can even sit themselves at the table if you choose. The staff will bring it’s four-legged customers water and, if you ask, an entire plate of chicken fingers! It doesn’t get better than that if you’re a dog! Blaze is a hip and happening, wood-fired pizza and burger bar that is known for its many craft beers and creative, American dishes. Its outside patio and bar also happens to be dog-friendly! Each pup will receive a bowl of water and everyone from the waitstaff to the bartenders to other customers will enjoy the company of your pup either at the bar or at and around the tables set up by the scenic street. Food ranges from classic pizza and fries to more upscale cuisine like an applewood smoked duck salad with goat cheese and arugula. But no matter what you’re in the mood for, you and your dog will be waited on hand and paw!
